Merry Christmas!

An early Merry Christmas to you all from the Stranded Mariner. I am taking the family to a short holiday in Thailand today. We will start in Phuket, where we chartered a Beneteau Oceanis 323 to do some sailing around Phuket, Phang Nga Bay, and Krabi. Probably the last time I have to charter a boat, with ‘Waratah’ now very near to completion. After Christmas we will spend a few days in Bangkok sightseeing and shopping.

I am looking forward to nice weather, friendly people, beautiful scenery, and excellent food! I’ll be back in the new year with pictures and tales.

Leaves me to wish everybody a Happy, Prosperous, and above all Healthy 2009!
