Durban again

I am in Durban again since Sunday to finish Waratah. Got started by going through the list of works with my local contractor. The list is quite big, with most of it rework. Sloppy paint jobs, wrong welds on the hatch frames, an engine exhaust which is far too small, leaking windows because they were fitted the wrong way, etc. All very frustrating, but it has to be done.

Then all the stuff that just not has been finished properly.

And then all the electrical systems and nav equipment will be completed this time.  Plus we will step the mast before launch.

Yesterday I spent most of the morning to buy a large variety of hand tools I need. You can’t do a proper job without the right tools after all.

One Response to Durban again

That sounds so familiar to me. At my work we’re facing the samen problems every day, but then we’re speaking about bricks and tiles :).
But you know why you’re doing it, keep that goal in mind!
    Good luck in Durban
